Emraan Hashmi in Hyderabad for second schedule of ‘Azhar’

Emraan Hashmi’s next, ‘Azhar’, a biopic on cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin has begun their second schedule in Hyderabad.��Preparation for��this schedule��started from the second week of October, while shooting started on Friday. Hashmi flew down the day before.

A source told the Deccan Chronicle, “They are going to have a lot of outdoor shoots and at a few grounds where Azhar used to train initially. A lot of scenes are being shot at a star hotel and the bulk of the shooting will move to a film studio. The shoot will also include some of the eateries that Azhar regularly visited. A house in Banjar Hills that was owned by Azhar is on the list too. Azhar is expected to join the shoot as he wants to see how it’s going. Emraan also wants to try the local cuisine and will make time for it.”

‘Azhar’ is produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, and also stars Prachi Desai, Gautam Gulati, and Nargis Fakhri. The first schedule was completed in London, and the biopic is slated for a May 2016 release.
