Emraan Hashmi is confident his upcoming film, Baadshaho۪ (2017) will be a much bigger hit than his previous blockbuster, Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai۪ (2010).

Starring Hasmhi and Ajay Devgn, Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai۪ went on to become a major hit. The duo has now joined forces once again for Baadshaho,۪ the new release directed by Milan Luthria, reports the Hindustan Times. When asked if he hopes to recreate the magic of the crime-drama, Hasmhi responded, Yes, of course, I hope to. But we will have to keep you guys guessing about just what it (the film) is about. It will be, God willing, bigger and grander than Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai.۝ The film also stars Esha Gupta and is reportedly set in the 70s.

Elsewhere on his radar Hashmi is also excited about his home production Captain Nawab۪ (2017), directed by Tony D۪Souza, who earlier directed the recently released Azhar۪ (2016). Captain Nawab۪ sees Hashmi playing a soldier and he says his role will be very demanding and require him to undergo military training as well. It (the film) is inspired by true event. But this is as much as I can tell you. It will be a very challenging role for me. I۪ll be getting military training for that because it deals with a person in Army. I۪ll have to start training for that after Baadshaho,۝ he said.
