Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Rock The Shaadi’ shelved

Ekta Kapoor’s production ‘Rock The Shaadi’ which was rumoured to initially release in 2012, then postponed to this year, will now not release at all.

The film kept everyone on a cliffhanger, however, BizAsia has found out that the Abhay Deol film will not be releasing.

Deol was disheartened when he heard that the film��was not going to release. He told Press Trust of India��”It is frustrating…I was angry for some time. Both I and Navdeep Singh (Director) had put in months of hard work and energy. It was very sad when it did not happen. Then all sort of stories started floating around, it is not the director�۪s fault, I was around. I have no idea where the project stands, if it is a legal issue or not, I have no clue about it.”

Although Deol is somewhat frustrated, he also hopes the movie will release some day. He added, “I still hope that Ekta would pick it up again, which I think she can.�۝

Well, BizAsia also hopes ‘Rock The Shaadi’ will get a final release.
