Ekta Kapoor signs Saif Ali Khan on three-film deal

Saif Ali Khan has been signed up by Ekta Kapoor on a three-film deal.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Kapoor will work the actor on Sujoy Ghosh’s Bollywood adaptation of the Japanese thriller, ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’, which is produced by Kapoor. As well as that, the two have met up to discuss two more films that will go on the floors after Ghosh’s release.

A source close to the actor said, “He’s being extremely selective about the projects that he greenlights. His discussion with Ekta revolved around his career and she’s given him some sharp insights. One of her suggestions was to do conceptdriven films that suit his age and justify his talent. He’s done with playing the urban Casanova and is now looking for more serious roles.”

The report adds that Khan will begin working on Ghosh’s film in May after which he will shoot Sameer Sharma’s ‘Jugalbandi’
