Ekta Kapoor signs Imran Khan in next post patch up

Imran Khan takes stand against homophobia

Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Milan Talkies’ was meant to initially star Imran Khan. However, the actor walked out of the project citing differences with producer Ekta Kapoor post ‘Once Upon ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara’ (2013). It seems that now Kapoor and Khan have mended their differences.

According to TOI, Khan and Kapoor came face-to-face at a party recently. They were spotted deep in conversation and news has it that they also met up at a later date to completely reconcile. They have even ended up talking about the script of Dhulia’s next which was written with Khan as the first choice. Khan himself said, “I’m very glad that Ekta and I met face-to-face and cleared up our issues. I really wish we had done it sooner. Tigmanshu’s script is excellent, and it would be a shame for his film to suffer because of our disagreement. I’m really looking forward to the three of us working together.”

Kapoor also confirmed, “I am extremely fond of Imran and thankfully, we have ironed out our differences. When I heard Tigmanshu’s great script, I instinctively knew that Imran was perfect for the character. He’ll do great justice to this role and we are so excited to commence this project”.

The film is now titled ‘Bhoole Se Naam Na Lo Pyar Ka’ and a heroine is yet to be decided.
