Ekta Kapoor planning Mohammad Azharuddin biopic?

After the success of ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ (2013), a film based on the life of Milkha Singh, another filmmaker is keen to make a biopic, this time resembling the life of ex-Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin.

According to Times Of India, producer Ekta Kapoor is already working on the big project and has roped in writer Rajat Arora to write the script. He had previously written films like ‘The Dirty Picture’ (2011) and ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’.

The report added that the producer had given a large amount to Azharuddin to acquire the rights for the biopic. She already has three actors in mind for the main role but details at the time of filing this article were not confirmed.
