Ekta Kapoor faces FIR over controversial scene in ‘XXX’

Ekta Kapoor is facing an FIR in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, over a controversial scene in her web-series ‘XXX’.

According to reports, she has alleged to have insulted national emblem, Hindu gods and army personnel in the scene, which has now been removed.

The show was also under the scanner earlier this week when another complaint was lodged against her in Gurugram’s Palam Vihar police station.

Martyrs Welfare Foundation (MWF) chairman Major TC Rao expressed objections against the show. He said, “This content is highly objectionable and it could demoraliswe our armed forces,” he told IANS. “Triple X-2 also has scenes where uniforms of military men, having symbols of Ashoka statue and Taj are torn apart. This is an insult to our armed forces and military personnel.”
