After reports of creative differences during the post-production of ‘Ek Thi Dayaan’ with co-producer Vishal Bhardwaj, word has it that Ekta Kapoor is having the same issues with ‘Once Upon Time In Mumbai Again’, this time with director Milan Luthria.
Tabloid reports say that Kapoor has ordered Luthria to re-shoot the climax of her upcoming gangster film. Akshay Kumar agreed that the film’s ending needed tweaking.
A crew member said, “After seeing the rushes, Ekta sent a message to Milan that several portions of the film, especially the climax, needed to be reworked. The director argued that it did not gel with his vision.”
Akshay too feels a reshoot is necessary. This has further strengthened Ekta۪s cause to call the shots and ensure that Milan does a reshoot, the source added.
‘Once Upon Time In Mumbai Again’ releases at cinemas on Thursday 8th August.
