The Asian Media & Marketing Group (AMG) has announced details of this year’s Eastern Eye Asian Business Awards.

The publishing company announced the Rt Hon Sadiq Khan MP as the keynote speaker at the event, which takes place this Friday (26th March).

In a statement, AMG said, “Sadiq Khan was appointed as the Minister of State for Transport in June 2009 and was the first British Asian to join the cabinet, making him an inspirational figurehead within multi-cultural society in Britain today and the perfect choice as this year۪s Eastern Eye Asian Business Awards keynote speaker.”

The Rt Hon Sadiq Khan, Minister of State for Transport said, “It is an honour to both attend and address the Eastern Eye Asian Business Awards 2010. The evening will be a fantastic celebration of the amazing contribution British Asians and their businesses make to our country.”
