Eastern Eye launches property supplement

The Ethnic Media Group, publisher of Eastern Eye, has produced its first ever property supplement in order tap into the housing boom investment by British Asians.

The new monthly pull out ? Property Eye ? is distributed with both papers and is in response to existing property companies revealing a massive uplift in sales from existing advertising in the titles.
The supplements will focus on new homes, investment in land in the UK and the overseas property business.

There has been a massive surge in foreign property sales in recent years, with Dubai in the Middle East becoming a major centre for investment in new developments.

One of the principle advertisers in the new supplement, Galliard Homes, said the majority of sales within the last 18 months in London had been to Asian professionals and business people.
Lynburge Rene, who is heading the project at Ethnic Media Group, said: ?We are very excited by this new publication. Through our titles these customers are reaching a readership base ready and able to invest in property.?

Eastern Eye currently has a circulation of around 20,500 copies per issue and the Asian Times has a print run of around 18,500 copies, although it is still awaiting its first official sales audit.
