Dunya News begins full testing; launch confirmed

Dunya News has begun full audio and video testing ahead of its official launch next week.

The popular Pakistani news and information service, is expected to join the line-up on the Sky platform on Thursday 30th April. It will be available on Sky channel 850, BizAsia can confirm.

Alliance Advertising & Marketing Ltd has been appointed the media agency who will handle sales and marketing for the channel in the UK.

The full tests can be viewed at the following parameters below:
-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> Select System Setup
-> Select Add Channels
-> Enter frequency: 11.426 (V), FEC: 2/3, SR: 27500
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight ���52515? service and press Yellow button
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> ���52515? should be listed and available
