Dulquer Salmaan on why he accepted ‘The Zoya Factor’ role

With the trailer of ‘The Zoya Factor’ garnering much interest since its release this week, Dulquer Salmaan has expressed his excitement at the film’s impending release.

During the film’s launch party, the actor spoke to the media about his second Bollywood venture. Though Salmaan has a huge fan following in the South, this will be his second venture in Bollywood, and this time as Times of India reports, he’s aware that this film is on a much bigger scale than his first ‘Karwaan’ (2018).

Talking of how he got the role, apparently, it’s all thanks to the film’s producers Aarti Shetty and Pooja Shetty. Salmaan explained how his move to Mumbai was made easy thanks to them giving him a place to stay rent-free. When he was offered the role in this film, he saw it as a way of saying thank you to them. 

Also starring Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, ‘The Zoya Factor’ is set to release on 20th September.
