Arjun Rampal visited Delhi University to promote his upcoming release ‘Chakravyuh’ andhe was mobbed by around 30 students who were alla bit too excited to see him.
The 30 security guards were not enough to keep the crazy fans away from the actor, who wasdressedin character,as a cop. The crowd became out of control and ended up ripping his shirt off. NDTVreported the actor protesting whilst there, “What are you guys doing? Leave me! Everytime when I come to this college I return with my shirt torn. You guys always increase my laundry and tailor bill.”
Rampal’s co-stars Abhay Deol,Manoj Bajpayee, Esha Gupta, Anjali Patel and director Prakash Jha were also involved, although they weren’t affected so much. Deol expressed his appreciation for the crowd and also felt a little compassion for not studying at the college, “What a turn up! What a nice crowd! Unfortunately, I did my studies from Mumbai and missed out all these fun. But I shot some of my initial films likeDev DandOye Lucky Lucky Oyehere.”
‘Chakravyuh’ is set to release on 24th October.
