Drashti Dhami talks about returning to work after marriage

Popular television actress, Drashti Dhami has admitted how pleased she is to return to work after her recent marriage.

Dhami, known for her role in ‘Madhubala’, will be seen on ZEE TV’s new show ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’, which launches next week.

She told DNA India, “It has been a pretty smooth transition for me. And this show is the perfect comeback venture for me post marriage. I am very happy to get back to work. The best part of the show is the get-up. I just love my whole look – the plaits, the cotton sateen, the printed blouses, the minimalist make-up.”

Asked if she felt apprehensive about doing ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi’ after the success of ‘Madhubal’, she said, “I do feel a little under pressure since Madhubala was such a success. But I am also looking forward to seeing my fans’ reaction to my new show. Even my family and friends are very excited.”

Dhami married Mumbai based businessman Neeraj Khemka in February this year.
