Drashti Dhami confirmed to attend AVTA 2017

Princess of the small screen, Drashti Dhami will be attending this year’s Asian Viewers Television Awards (AVTA) in London, BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively reveal.

Dhami, one of the most popular actresses on Indian television, was last seen in Star Plus’ hit show ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’. She is also known for her memorable work in ‘Geet’, ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’ and ‘Madhubala’. She was also crowned the winner of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ in 2013.

This is the first time Dhami will be visiting London on an official work trip. Its also her first association with AVTA, which is now in its fourth year.

So far, Dhami is the second television personality to fly in from Mumbai after BizAsiaLive.com revealed that Karan Tacker will return as host of the popular awards show.

AVTA 2017 remains the UK’s only event to celebrate Asian television. The event is helmed by media legend, Rajan Singh.

AVTA 2017 takes place on Saturday 2nd December 2017 at prestigious London hotel.
