Double role for Karan Johar in ‘Boom Boom in New York’

With the news of Karan Johar venturing into another film as an actor, interestingly this time it will be a very different kind of role. If news is to be believed, the film maker-turned-actor will be seen in a double act.

Also starring Diljit Dosanjh and Sonakshi Sinha the film has been titled ‘Boom Boom in New York’. Deccan Chronicle reports a source revealing, “Acting comes naturally to Karan, and he is going to surprise everyone with this film. He will not just be seen in a double role but will also be seen in a negative role in the film.”

The films evolves around an award ceremony that takes place in New York. It has been said that parts of the film’s shooting took place during the actual IIFA Awards in New York last year.

Producer Vashu Bhagnani has also signed Lara Dutta Bhupathi and Aditya Roy Kapur to play important roles in the film.
