After the fun and frolics of 2008’s ‘Dostana’, audiences have been waiting in anticipation for the film’s sequel, as approved by Karan Johar. Tarun Mansukhani was said to have been working on the script and it seems that it is finally coming together. The film is rumoured to roll in just a few months time.
As reported by Zee News, the sequel is going to be quite the opposite to the original. A source has revealed, “The Californian seaside setting of ‘Dostana’ took care of all the water-related activities. ‘Dostana 2’ would unfold on terra firma. No beaches and, sorry, no John in dangerously low-waist swimming trunks. The cracks, if any, would show elsewhere”. The scene in question is arguably one of the most memorable in JohnAbraham’s career.
Abraham has spoken about the forthcoming film and said, “Yes, Tarun Mansukhani has finally got the plot in place. And we’re all set. I maintain Abhishek is my best screen-jodi. And I can’t wait to get cosy with him on screen”. Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan’s jodi isundoubtedly the film’s USP and audiences will breathe a huge sigh of relief to know that itis to be repeatedfor the sequel.
If other source comments are to be believed, the movie will be shot in London and Punjab.
