Doordarshan launches educational channel in India

India’s state broadcaster, Doordarshan has launched an education channel called DD Roshni on the DTT platform.

Exchange4Media reports that the channel was launched by Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy. The channel is a collaboration between Microsoft and Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP).

It will be available on DD FreeDish, Airtel Digital TV, Dish TV, Big TV, Tata Sky, VideoconD2h and Sun Direct.
