‘Don’ & ‘Mary Kom’ helped Priyanka Chopra prepare for ‘Quantico’

When one thought she had done all she could, out came the announcement about her first American TV series ‘Quantico’. Now as the pilot has recently aired in the USA, Chopra explained how her previous acting roles helped her with this role.

Talking to the press Pinkvilla reported the actress explaining how she prepped for such a vigorous role, “I did not have to prepare much for the role as I had earlier trained for ��Don�۪ (2006) and ��Mary Kom�۪ (2014), both action films. I had experience in it. Just that here we have real FBI guys training me with gun and stuff, for instance, how to do confrontation…”

Talking about the response she has been receiving since the first episode has aired, Chopra went onto say, “��So far even I am reading like everybody else. I have seen the pilot, reviews have started. So far we have got all positive reviews. ‘Quantico’ has been a very interesting experience, it is like going on an adventure every time. I play an FBI trainee.”

The actress may have finished shooting for her US stint for now, however the work hasn’t stopped yet. With the release of her forthcoming films ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Jai Gangaajal’, it seems Chopra still has a lot to look forward to as she returns to her home in India.
