‘Don 3’ announcement on the way?

When Farhan Akhtar hinted at an announcement coming soon during the trailer launch of ‘Gully Boy’, many thought that it was about his relationship with Shibani Dandekar. However, it could well be something else altogether.

Box Office India reports that the announcement in question could be about ‘Don 3’ which has been in the offing for quite a while. Akhtar has apparently been working on the third instalment for some time and an announcement was apparently expected this year, in a few months.

One wonders whether the third film in the franchise will see Akhtar and Shah Rukh Khan come together once more.
