The industry has been shocked with the deteriorating health of popular music composer Aadesh Shrivastava after it emerged that his battling cancer yet again.
The latest we’ve heard is that yesteryear actress and Shrivastava’s wife Vijayta Pandit has said that the doctors have given up hope on the musician making any recovery.
She told Deccan Chronicle, ���I can�۪t describe what I am going through. I don�۪t know how I am coping. Our two sons, Anivesh and Avitesh, are keeping me from crumbling under pressure. My family (brothers, composers Jatin and Lalit Pandit) are also a great support.”
She added, ���I am running from the hospital to our residence all day long, trying to remain sane even as the doctors have given up on him.”
Pandit also mentioned that she had not received any support from the film fraternity. Talking to the publication about this, she said, ���Falling ill so suddenly was traumatic. But the cold-shoulder treatment I got from the people with whom I�۪ve closely worked with for years, has caused me even more damage than the disease itself. Nobody came to visit me after I fell sick.�
