DM News Plus begins testing ahead of Sky re-launch
DM News Plus has commenced test transmissions on the Sky platform in preparation for its official launch this September. Broadcasting from Manchester, the channel promises round-the-clock coverage described as “fair and unbiased,” focusing on news from Pakistan, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
The launch marks the revival of the DM brand, which ceased operations in 2014 following a series of legal disputes with UK media regulator Ofcom. Its former flagship, DM Digital, was frequently cited for regulatory breaches, leading to its eventual shutdown.
