Muslim religious channel DM Islam has begun testing EPG data days ahead of its official launch on Sky Digital.

The third channel to come from the Manchester based TV network, will be launching on satellite on Monday 17th July.

DM Digital already broadcasts flagship channel DM Digital and DM Digital Gold on Sky Digital.

The new channel will specialise in round the clock Muslim religious programming. Earlier the channel was to launch an Asian music channel, it stalled its plans to make way for the religious offering. DM Digital Music has now been delayed to December of this year.

At the time of filing this piece, no audio and visual testing had begun. Only EPG data is being tested with programme details (as shown in picture above).
