DM Global falls off air on Sky

DM Global has fallen off air with its transmission abruptly hit by a glitch.

The Manchester based channel, which is available on Sky channel 799 is currently broadcasting at zero level (black screen). It is not the first time the channel has gone off-air suddenly. Previously, DM Global (DM Digital) was known for its regular transmission breaks.

It is not known why the channel has disappeared but could be down to either non-payment of Sky EPG fees or Ofcom related issues. The channel is also said to be in legal trouble over rights of movies it has broadcast.

Previously, a spokesperson for DM Global told BizAsia, ���We have full rights for these titles but only in Hindi/Urdu dubbed that�۪s why there are rumours and some being confused. We have been playing these movies for the last 4 months and never encountered any problems.�۝

It remains to be seen when and if DM Global will return.
