DM Digital Gold begins test transmissions

The new film and news channel from the Manchester based DM Digital is gearing up for its April launch.

Tests of DM Digital Gold have been spotted off the Sky Digital EPG. DM Digital Gold officially launches on Sky on Monday 10th April. Previously the channel was tentatively titled DM World Cinema. DM Digital Gold will showcase Hindi and Urdu movies, with news updates live round the clock.

Tests can be viewed in the following way:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> System Setup (4)
-> Add Channels (4)
-> Enter the frequency: 11.343 (H), FEC 2/3, Symbol Rate 27500
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “53290” service and press Yellow button.
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> “53290” should be listed and available
