DM Digital announce changes to its channels

DM Digital will be merging its two channels DM Digital and DM Gold on Monday (24th July) to make way for their new service DM Islam.

Due to the delay in Sky providing EPG channel numbers, DM has decided to shift its film and news content from DM Gold over to main channel DM Digital (EPG 817). This will then result in DM Islam launching in the former place of DM Gold (EPG 822).

DM Islam will broadcast Islamic religious shows round the clock.

Earlier the channel was also set to launch an Asian music channel, it stalled its plans favouring the religious offering. DM Digital Music has now been delayed to December of this year.

The channel has also confirmed to BizAsia.co.uk that its DM Digital will remain a free-to-air service.
