Divya Dutta’s ‘Badlapur’ character different from real life

Bollywood actress Divya Dutta finds herself entirely different in the real life from the character she played in this weekend’s flick ‘Badlapur’.

Dutta will portray a grey character in the film and this is the first such role of her career. The actress told Hindutan Times, “Revenge depends on who the person is. But my revenge will be harmless unlike my film (Badlapur).”

Talking about her co-star Varun Dhawan, Dutta said that she is proud of him as he did a negative role so early in his career.��”It is an amazing step. Somebody who has just arrived with four films and has a different image and is a star to take this kind of a different role altogether. I love such people who take on variety and try to experiment,” said the actress.

Also starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi and Yami Gautam, ‘Badlapur’ is now out at cinemas.
