Divya Dutta to play negative role in ‘Chalk n Duster’

Better known for her sweet and adorable supporting roles, actress Divya Dutta is soon to be seen playing her first negative role, in a film titled ‘Chalk n Duster’.

Produced by debut producer Subhash Singh, the film reflects on the issues that the teachers face in dealing with their work as a part of the education system. Talking about her role��Indian Express reported Dutta saying, “This is my first negative role so I am really looking forward to it. This is something I haven�۪t done before. So I am very excited.”

Dutta has worked with many big names throughout her career, including Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, and many more. Having done the more likeable characters, the actress now wants to venture out in other roles as she added, “Now my motive is to do the stuff that I haven�۪t delved into so far.”

The film will also star the likes of Shabana Azmi,��Juhi Chawla, Jackie Shroff,��Zarina Wahab and Anupam Kher. Excited about working with such names, Dutta went onto express, “It�۪s a great thing to have such a strong role in a film that has legendary actresses like Shabana.”
