Disha Parmar on wedding plans: “Rahul & I have decided to wait & haven’t locked on a date”

When Rahul Vaidya proposed to Disha Parmar back in November 2020 on ‘Bigg Boss 14’, fans of both have been eagerly waiting for the couple to the tie the knot. In February BizAsiaLive.com had shared that the wedding was likely to take place in June, however with the current COVID-19 situation in India they have decided to postpone their plans.

In a recent interview with Bombay Times, Parmar shared they will wait until things have improved, “Rahul and I have decided to wait and haven’t locked on a date for the wedding. We want our closest friends to be present at our wedding, so we have decided to wait. Even if you cut down people, I would like a minimum of 50-70 guests at our wedding, so we are hoping that things will get better and the pandemic will go away from our lives.”

Vaidya who was a runner-up on the reality show will next be seen in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ based in Cape Town, South Africa. Asked how tough it will feel to be separated again, Parmar said, “I would not say tough, but definitely a bit hard as I was hoping that we would spend more time with each other. I never knew he was an adventure junkie, but, of course, work comes first. If he has chosen to be part of another show, I am sure he will give his best and shine like he did in Bigg Boss. I am happy that he is working, because work is worship for both of us.”
