Director Rajesh Pillai passes away aged 41

Malayalam film director Rajesh Pillai, renowned for films like ‘Traffic’ and ‘Mili’, has passed away at the age of 41.

Pillai was admitted to hospital on 25th February and put on the ventilator. He was pronounced dead at 11:45 today.

The filmmaker had contracted pneumonia during his last film ‘Vettah’ and since his health worsened.
