Director D.J. Caruso confirms Deepika Padukone in next ‘xXx’

Deepika Padukone made her foray into Hollywood with the action franchise ‘xXx: Return of Zander Cage’ (2017). Since the film was a part of the popular franchise with many cast members in rotation, fans questioned if Padukone would be a part of the fourth installment. Director D.J. Caruso has confirmed that Padukone is indeed cast, and are working out the details.

Caruso was asked about Padukone’s casting by a fan on Twitter. He responded with two different tweets (@deejaycar). One that said “Yes” to her being in the film, and a second tweet that read “Working it out now script being scheduled”, when asked about an update to Padukone’s shooting schedule.

Meanwhile, Padukone will next be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’, slated to release at the end of the year.
