Director Ayan Mukherji gets punched

News has it that��Ayan Mukherji, who is currently directing ��Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani�۪, got physically abused by one of the crew members.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the production team had signed director Vishwas Batra to shoot the making of the film��with his own cameras and equipment.��It so happened that��some of Mukherji�۪s assistants had used Batra�۪s cameras without permission which��made Batra a little miffed. When he tried to confront Mukherji with his issue, Mukherji brushed the director off, not bothered about the incident. When the issue was brought up again, the two directors got into a heated argument which led Mukherji getting punched in the face.

Batra was immediately sacked when Dharma Productions came to know about the incident. ��Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani�۪ which is due to release later this year and will star��Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
