Priyanka Chopra has announced her fourth Marathi production ‘Paani’, which will see her collaborate with director Adinath Kothare.
The first time director, is all praise for the actress, for choosing a film based on a social issue relateable by many.
He told The Asian Age, “I have been working on this script for the past three years. It’s a real and hard-hitting film. Priyanka is backing the project and has given her inputs on the script level. It’s a great collaboration.”
He added, “I thought it will be difficult to convince Priyanka but she is so receptive to great concepts and she has the courage to trust a debutant director like me. Hats off to her and her team for believing in such a subject.”
Chopra’s Purple Pebble Pictures will be helming the project.
