Dino Morea: “I took time off to try and better my skills”

It’s been a while since Dino Morea graced the silver screens, and though he may not have a huge list of hits, there was no doubt in saying he had a good fan following. The actor has now come out to reveal all, on why he decided to take such a long break and what he has been doing in the meantime.

“Why the gap? I had to take a step back to understand and reflect on the choice of films I was making. What does one have to do to keep being relevant? They say ‘practice makes perfect’. So I took time off to try and better my skills.  I did an acting course in Dehli for a year, thereafter, I came back and continued tutoring myself in Mumbai.” Times of Inidia reports the actor explain.

He went on to add, “In order to stay close to the industry, I produced the film ‘Jism 2’ (2012) and learnt what it takes to be on the other side of the camera. I also have a few entrepreneurial ventures that needed my time and attention.”

Despite his break, Morea apparently continuously got offers his way, however, none of which appealed to him only making him work harder in development. “I am already in talks with production houses for some interesting acting opportunities. I am also meeting directors, producers and casting agents like any other actor. e are in an exciting phase as opportunities are many,” he went on to say.

He is also continuing to produce, with a forthcoming project already on the horizon, as he revealed, “The next script my production house is about to produce is fantastic. So, I am gearing up to create some amazing content.”
