Diljit Dosanjh not ousted from ‘Border 2’
The producers of the forthcoming patriotic drama ‘Border 2’ have dismissed recent speculation suggesting that Diljit Dosanjh has been replaced by Ammy Virk in the film’s cast.
Dosanjh has recently found himself at the centre of controversy following the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in his film ‘Sardaar Ji 3’. However, it is worth noting that the project was completed prior to the latest rise in Indo-Pakistani tensions.
A source closely associated with ‘Border 2’ clarified, “The news about his replacement is not true. Diljit is part of Border 2 and we have already completed 50 percent of the shoot with him. His casting was confirmed nearly nine months ago.”
