Diljit Dosanjh confirmed for Anushka Sharma’s ‘Phillauri’

Punjabi superstar, Diljit Dosanjh has bagged his second Bollywood film, which will be produced under Anushka Sharma’s production banner Clean Slate Films.

Sharma took to Twitter to confirm the news, “Happy 2 announce our next production venture – PHILLAURI, with @foxstarhindi & co-staring @diljitdosanjh, Suraj Sharma.”

Dosanjh is yet to make his Bollywood debut with ‘Udta Punjab’, which releases this summer, along with Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt.

‘Phillauri’ will be shot in Punjab, which will also star ‘Life Of Pi’ actor Suraj Sharma.

It goes on the floors in April. It will be directed by Anshai Lal.
