Dilip Kumar diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusion; stable in hospital

BizAsiaLive.com reported earlier today that veteran actor Dilip Kumar had been admitted to hospital after complaining of breathing difficulties. The actor has been confirmed as being diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusion.

Times Of India has reported that he is on oxygen support and not in the Intensive Care Unit. Rumours of his passing have also been rubbished by his wife Saira Banu and others in his family.

It’s thought the actor will need to remain in hospital for the next couple of days.
