Differences between KJo-Ekta affect ‘Badtameez Dil’?

In a co-production of sorts, Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor had joined hands for the forthcoming ‘Badtameez Dil’ which was to star Emraan Hashmi and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles. However, BizAsia has heard that the two filmmakers are at loggerheads and therefore the film could be shelved.

According to Mid-Day, ‘Badtameez Dil’ has seen many obstacles along the way, one of which was Kapoor Khan’s refusal to to intimate scenes with Hashmi. Alongside such differences, Johar and Kapoor seemed to be having disagreements to which hasn’t helped the project. A source reports, “Anticipating a further delay, the makers considered casting fresh faces. But the matter seems to have gone out of the hand now, as there have also been too many creative changes in the script. Ekta and Karan�۪s differences have made it worst”. CEO at Balaji Motion Pictures, Tanuj Garg, has rubbished the reports.

‘Badtameez Dil’ was expected to go on the floors in September.
