Diana Penty bags ‘Lucknow Central’?

While Kriti Sanon was said to be the original choice for the upcoming ‘Lucknow Central’, it seemed that she couldn’t accommodate the film in her busy schedule. It was said that Saiyami Kher may bag the role but now it seems Diana Penty will be leading lady.

Deccan Chronicle reports that the makers weren’t keen on Kher as she looked “too glamorous” for the role. A source said, “After the makers roped in Saiyami, they felt that she isn’t best suited for the role either. Hence, they replaced her with Diana Penty”.

Farhan Akhtar is male lead in the film which is being made by Nikkhil Advani.

Penty made her comeback in ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ earlier this year.
