Dia Mirza signs Nikkhil Advani’s ‘Moghuls’

Dia Mirza is very excited to star in Nikkhil Advani’s historical TV show, tentatively titled ‘Moghuls’.

Mirza will be playing the role of Khanzada, Mughal empreror Babur’s sister, “It’s one of the greatest joys for an actor to have the opportunity to play a historical figure. The Mughal Empire is a subject that I’ve always been interested in and it’s truly exciting to work with Nikkhil Advani, Shabana Azmi and Ronit Roy,”, Mirza told Deccan Chronicle, adding that while the character will involve a lot of hard work, she is looking forward to it.

‘Moghuls’ is based on Alex Rutherford’s novel series ‘Empire of the Moghul’. The first season of the show will follow Babur, played by Roy, and his rule in Kabul.
