Dia Mirza questions all male meeting with Narendra Modi

A delegation of producers and actors from the Hindi film fraternity recently had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss issues faced by the film industry, however the meeting of the delegation has been criticised for its exclusion of female representation with many asking, “Where are the women?”

Deccan Chronicle reports that actress Dia Mirza expressed her disappointment via Twitter tagging Akshay Kumar in her post, who was part of the 18 member panel that led the delegation. “This is wonderful! Is there a reason why there were no women in this room?” tweeted Mirza.

The delegation Modi to discuss the future of the entertainment industry and the next step to take in that direction. In addition to Kumar, the other prominent panellists included Karan Johar, Ajay Devgn, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Prasoon Joshi.
