Di5 appointed for Colors UK marketing

Media marketing agency, Di5 has been appointed to market the launch of the much talked about Hindi channel, Colors in the UK.

Former Business Head of B4U Network, Bala Iyer and ex-ZEE Network UK Sales Head, Abhijit Sen are behind Di5. They currently handle the accounts of Veetee Rice, as well as being sole UK distributors of movies like Victory۪ and Wanted۪ in the past.

The lucrative account of Colors, which industry speculation suggests to be around 250,000 for marketing alone, will see the agency look after the promotion of the channel pre and post launch, including radio and press campaigns. The TV promotions of Colors will run across VIEWASIA’s seven existing channels – Sony Entertainment Television Asia, B4U Movies, MAX, Sahara One, ARY Digital, Aaj Tak and SAB, as well as B4U Music and ARY QTV.

Whilst teaser promos of Colors’ imminent launch have been running on TV for the past couple of weeks, radio stations will begin airing the first batch of adverts from this weekend.

It was exclusively confirmed by BizAsia.co.uk first that Colors will be distributed by Multi Screen Media owned VIEWASIA, making Colors the eighth channel as a part of the bundle.

Colors is to launch on Monday 25th January on Sky Digital EPG 829, however channel officials are remaining tightlipped on the pricing for the channel.

Di5 is also selling airtime for the channel.

Sterling Media has been appointed to control the PR for the channel.
