Dharma Productions signs Siddharth Shukla for three films

Siddharth Shukla is well known in Indian television land. However, his popularity increased after appearing on dance reality TV show ��Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa�۪ last year. It seems he impressed judge Karan Johar so much that he has now been signed to Dharma Productions for three films.

Shukla, whose dancing skills took a much-needed improvement in the show, always remained popular throughout especially when it came to host Manish Paul and Kapil Sharma�۪s jokes. Shukla was often the focus of the laughs throughout his time there and he was also portrayed as a die-hard fan of Madhuri Dixit-Nene. He will be making his Bollywood debut in the forthcoming ��Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania�۪ which stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, in what has been touted as the modern day version of ��Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge�۪ (1995).

Confirming the development, Johar himself said, ���Yes. Siddharth has been signed up for the film. He is a talented actor and a rage in Balika Vadhu. Dharma Productions plans to continue its professional equation with him�۝.
