After his brilliant performance as Kancha in ��Agneepath�۪ (2012), Sanjay Dutt has been approached by Dharma Productions for a role in their next venture, along with Emraan Hashmi, Neha Dhupia, Kangna Ranaut and Randeep Hooda.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the role as a copper was at first handed to Anil Kapoor, who declined the offer.��The production house��then��offered Dutt the role, who happily signed on the dotted line. The film��is to be directed by Rensil D�۪Silva, whose��most recent��offering was��Kareena-Saif starrer, ��Kurbaan�۪ (2009).
Though Dutt has��been a part of��a Dharma Productions film before, this��will be��the first time that the others will work with the production house. Although filming was due to start in July-August, D’Silva has decided to begin in September.
