With his debut film proving a major success, Dhanush’s lucky stars have been growing by the minute. With a number of projects lined up, news has it that friend and mentor Aanand L Rai has offered the fresh face a cameo role in the upcoming sequel to ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ (2001).
According to Times of India, the film maker and actor who worked together in ‘Raanjhanaa’ (2013) are coming together again, where Dhanush is being considered for either a cameo role or a item song number. And if reports are to be believed, the deal is more of a personal matter than a professional one.
It had recently been reported that the film maker had in fact not gained the rights to make ‘Tanu Weds Manu 2’, however these rumours have now been said to be false. The first film starredR Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles, who were much appreciated by audiences.
