Dhanush replaces Vicky Kaushal in Bejoy Nambiar’s next

Vicky Kaushal has been replaced with ‘Raanjhanaa’ star, Dhanush in Bejoy Nambiar’s next film based on the 1988 hit film ‘Agni Natchathiram’.

Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Nambiar said, “Yes, it’s true, I am making this movie. The script is complete and I am planning to start the project soon.”

A source added, “Vicky has walked out of the film citing date issues, but there were reports that it was basically because he was unhappy with the actress who they were thinking of casting opposite him. But basically it will be filmed from August to October in Mumbai as the makers want to shoot during the monsoons and Vicky has already committed his dates to another film during this period and hence had no option but to drop out of the film.”

Kaushal confirmed the news, “It was genuinely because of clash of dates that I had to drop out.”
