Deven Verma passes away at 77

Legendary actor Deven Verma has passed away at the age of 77 after he suffered a severe cardiac arrest and kidney failure this morning.

The actor became popular for comical roles in film and on television. He is renowned for films like ‘Golmaal’, ‘Chori Mera Kaam’ and ‘Angoor’.

Arup Kumar, brother of Verma�۪s wife, was cited in NDTV saying, ���He had been unwell for the last one-and-a-half years. He had diabetes since the last 35 years. Off late, he had developed heart problem as well. He was hospitalised on Monday evening and was in the ICU. At about 1.45 am, he passed away.�۝
