Details emerge of ‘Swayamavar 2’ on NDTV

NDTV Imagine is planning the sequel to ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamavar’ after the phenomenon it was first time around.

The second season, tentatively titled ‘Swayamavar 2’ is expected to commence December-end with auditions taking place across India starting next week.

However, this time around, the female protagonist Rakhi Sawant will not be a part of the show, instead ‘Swayamavar 2’ will star a male lead, details of which have not been confirmed.

Earlier reports suggested actor Rahul Mahajan was to be a part of the show. BizAsia.co.uk is awaiting an official statement from the channel.

Meanwhile, NDTV Imagine’s new reality show ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ commences in the UK on Tuesday 29th September, running Tuesday to Saturday at 20:30.

In other NDTV Imagine news, ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ and ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’ will both end on the channel on Friday 23rd October. A new daily show will commence – details of which are currently not confirmed.
