Demonetisation causes delays for ‘3 Dev’

The newest victims to be affected by the demonetisation are Karan Singh Grover and his fellow co-stars, Ravi Dubey and Kunal Roy Kapur for their film ‘3 Dev’.

Due to the ban on Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, many in the cinema and film industry have been greatly affected. According to SpotboyE, Singh Grover et al have had to push back the date for their film ‘3 Dev’, which was set to release in January 2017. A further setback for director Ankoosh Bhatt and the boys, as the film has already been delayed for various reasons.

A source close to the team said, “3 Dev is a massy film and the makers were targeting it for single screens. Now, single screens are run more on cash. Hence, it makes no sense to take a risk.”

The film will also star Kay Kay Menon and Raima Sen.
