Deepika-Ranveer request charity donations instead of wedding gifts

Already in Lake Como, Italy gearing up for their big day, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have decided to take a more humble approach when it comes to wedding gifts from their guests.

With the couple having an intimate wedding ceremony abroad, Times of India reports that they will be holding their reception back in Mumbai. With the reception invite having leaked online, it reveals the tight security procedure that the guests will have to go through, including gifts to be a donation to Padukone’s ‘Live Love Laugh Foundation’.

The e-invite also requests guests to keep their invite on their phone whereby a certain code assigned to their invite will be scanned on arrival. Furthermore contrary to reports about the date, the reception will be held on 28th November.
